Allguard Insurance Corp.

Supplemental Coverage

Additional protection when you need it most

Overview

Dental, vision, accident and critical illness

Your main health plan leaves gaps, and those gaps get expensive fast. Deductibles, dental work, a broken wrist, a cancer diagnosis. Allguard compares supplemental carriers available in your area and shows you what each one actually pays out.

What we check

How we compare supplemental plans

Supplemental policies are sold on price and judged on payout. We read the fine print so the benefit is there when you file.

The real cash benefit per event, per year, and whether it has a lifetime cap.

When it pays

Waiting periods, pre-existing conditions and how fast claims are processed.

What it costs

Monthly premium weighed against what you would realistically claim in a year.

The honest answer

It depends on your deductible

If your health or Medicare plan has a high deductible and you do not have several thousand dollars set aside, supplemental coverage is usually worth it. If your deductible is low and you have savings, it may not be. We will tell you which one you are, even when the answer means we do not sell you anything.
